Development on Mount Hermon
The development in the Mount Hermon area started in 1971 with the construction of the first cable car site.
Initiators of this unique initiative were the Jewish Agency, the Moshav movement and Moshav Neve Ativ.
In the beginning there were only a few skiers in Israel. Everyone, skiers and visitors alike made use of the same area and in the early years the emphasis was rather on the visitors.
Today, with considerable growth in ski enthusiasts,Moshav Neve Ativ invests most development budgets in improving the conditions for the ski and snowboarding slopes and at the other hand, visitors can every year enjoy new attractions on Mount Hermon.
